AIA Chicago 2025 Design Excellence - Interior Architecture Small
The IIT College of Architecture's 2025 Open House's theme, Change In Plot, reflects a year of bold ideas and transformative design.
Our installation represents the physical effects of our personal experiences on our designs. Starting with a grid, we pulled, pushed, and twisted our shapes to create new spaces to experience. This new space allows visitors to walk, sit, lean, and climb.
Throughout this project, I experienced every aspect of the design-build process. I was named one of three managers for the project. I worked on the schedule, budget, frame design, assembly, dyeing, and wrapping of the structures.
